About the Event
Restart on the longest day of the year with the 108 Sun Salutation Ritual. This is a cleansing moving meditation that allows you the chance to reconnect to yourself and recharge.   There’s a method behind the madness of doing 108 Sun Salutations. The number 108 has many different meanings depending on what you’re looking for: In astronomy, the distance between the Sun and Earth is roughly 108 times the Sun’s diameter. In numerology, 108 equals 9, which symbolizes universal love, eternity and awakening.   Either way doing 108 Sun Salutations is a way to reignite yourself, to clean the slate and start over again. There’s a lot I’ve learned about myself from practicing 108 Sun Salutation rituals. There’s a sense of power and can that comes from the moving meditation.   In a time where we feel heavy and stuck, this is a great way to get our energy moving and flowing once again and a chance to celebrate a new start on the longest day of the year.   Whether you’ve taken one class or a thousand, this practice helps you deepens your understanding of your practice and yourself.   Try something new, you never know what you might find.
